A SLICE OF LIFE |
A SLICE OF LIFE |
Welcome friends! I invite you to pull up a chair and help yourselves to a generous serving of my essay-style stories.
Because these are drawn from my life experiences, with its multifarious tastes and textures, I thought it best to serve them up buffet style. Many of these “slices of life” are born of the sweetest of memories, others rich, unique or refreshing. Though not everything life’s put on my plate has been pleasant and palatable. So, I hope you won’t find me an unkind host if you sample something a bit sour or intense. Personally, I savor those experiences too – for their lessons. And my hope is that you’ll delight in the variety. My humor tends to be quirky, but I hope you’ll be entertained and challenged to embrace life’s little moments – and come away from the table with a renewed hunger for life and eye toward discovering (or rediscovering) hope.
